About Us
My name is Sebastiaan Perre and I have (along with other family members) undertaken this project as a journey of discovery, there is no profit or ulterior motive to why we are developing this site. We are Perre family descendants who began to question where we came from about a year ago. Since then our road of discovery has been a fascinating journey. We have learnt that our families were Vikings and Lords and Ladies. Our family has a crest and a motto and has within it, great explorers, navigators and generals. What we have discovered has made us proud to be a Perre!
We couldn’t stop there; we wanted to know more and to share our knowledge with other Perre, Van de Perre and Perry family members so we created this site. We hope you will be as excited about the discoveries we have made and the venture we are undertaking. And we hope that you will join us on the journey.
So that you can get to know our branch of the family tree we include what we know about ourselves going back as far as we can with our personal history. If anyone can take us back further we welcome any information you have to offer and in turn, we offer you all of the information on this site. Hopefully this site will grow and other Perre’s (Van De Perre’s & Perry’s) can contribute to our mutual knowledge.
